Sanjay Super Store

We've been here in Surat for a while now. Running Sanjay Super Store keeps us pretty busy from morning until late at night. Most people in the neighborhood know us by name, and we know what they usually come in for without them even asking. It’s just a regular shop where you can grab your milk, bread, and other daily stuff. Sometimes the floor gets a bit dusty when it’s windy outside, but we try to keep things tidy. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just rows of shelves filled with things people need for their kitchens and homes. My cousin helps out behind the counter most afternoons. We talk to the delivery guys when they bring the crates in. Sometimes the stock takes a bit longer to arrive than we’d like, but that’s just how it goes. If something isn't on the shelf, we usually have it tucked away in the back room. It’s a bit cramped in there, to be honest. We’ve seen kids grow up and start coming in to buy things for their own families now. It makes the day go by faster when someone stops to chat about the weather or the local news while they wait for their change. We just keep the doors open and make sure there’s enough tea and rice for everyone who stops by. It isn't a huge place, but it gets the job done for the folks living around here.
