Sandy Resort

The air here near Devka Beach always feels a bit heavy with salt and moisture. Running Sandy Resort takes up most of our time, from checking people in to making sure the rooms are ready. The location has us dealing with Sagrampura and Sayajigunj vibes, and we are right here where the sea breeze hits. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the city, but it gets very busy during the holidays. We spend a lot of time dealing with the sand that gets everywhere, no matter how much we sweep the floors. The building has its quirks, like the occasional leaky faucet or a door that squeaks when the wind blows hard. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just us making sure the guests have what they need for their stay. In the evenings, you can hear the waves if the traffic on the nearby road isn't too loud. We try to keep the garden area tidy, though the salt air makes it hard for some plants to grow. It’s a practical place for people who want to be near the water without staying in a big, cold hotel. We do the laundry, fix the lights, and handle the bookings as they come in on the phone. It is just a regular life by the beach, and we take it one day at a time. The 395002 area stays warm, so the fans are always on.
