Our office is located at 301, Silvercrest Apartment, right next to the Anmol Shopping Complex in the Parle Point area of Surat. It’s a pretty good spot because there’s always something happening nearby. We are Gujrat Jhm Hotels Ltd, and this is where the administrative side of things happens. It’s an apartment building, so it feels more like a home than a big corporate tower. We have desks set up in the different rooms and a lot of files piled up. Most of what we do involves managing hotel operations and making sure the paperwork is in order. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll see fancy decorations or anything. We have a few calendars on the walls and some old printers that still work well enough. People come and go throughout the day. Sometimes we have meetings around the main table to talk about stuff that needs fixing or new staff we need to hire for the hotels. It can get a bit loud when everyone is talking at once and the phones start ringing. The view from the third floor isn't bad, you can see the traffic moving towards Parle Point. We just focus on the daily tasks. There’s no magic to it, just keeping track of numbers and talking to the people at the actual hotels. We try to stay organized, but sometimes the desks get buried under memos. It’s just a busy little office where we try to keep everything moving forward for the company.
