Hotel Oyster

We've been over here at Room No/1/2 in Khetrapal Society for a while now. Most people know us in Umragam because we're right near Icchanath in Surat. It’s just a regular place to stay, nothing fancy, but we keep things clean. My family and a couple of helpers run the daily stuff. Gujarat summers get really hot, so we make sure the rooms stay decent. People usually come by when they have work in this part of town or if they're visiting family nearby. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Our building is quite basic. Noise from the street can be a bit much during the day because of the traffic, but it settles down at night. We try to help out guests if they need to find a good spot to eat or need directions to the main market. Being in 395007, we’re tucked away in a spot that feels like a real neighborhood. We aren't part of any big chain, just a local spot where you can get a bed and a roof over your head. I spend most of my mornings checking the registers and making sure the water is running right. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it like this for years. If you end up in Surat and need a place that isn't overpriced, that's basically what we offer here at Hotel Oyster.
