Rajasthan Sweets

Rajasthan Sweets is over on New IPCL Road in Parvat. We are at number 23. It is just a regular shop on a busy street. We don't have any big windows or fancy displays. We just have a glass counter where we put what we made that morning. The traffic on New IPCL Road is always moving, so there is a lot of noise. We spend most of our time in the back where it is a bit quieter but much hotter. We use big iron pans to cook everything. It is a lot of stirring and watching the flame. Sometimes we burn a batch and have to start all over again. That is just how it goes when you do everything by hand. We don't have a big staff, so we take turns standing at the front. The walls are a bit yellow from the steam and the smoke over the years. We don't spend much on decorating. We think as long as the food is okay, people will keep coming back. We see the same people every day after they finish work. They stop their bikes outside and come in for a minute. We don't do anything fancy like home delivery. You just have to stop by if you are in Parvat. It is a simple way to make a living and we have been doing it like this for a while now. We don't have any big plans to expand or move to a bigger building. We just want to keep the stoves hot and the trays full.
