Raja Plastic Centre

Raja Plastic Centre is right on Jhampa Mahakali Caves Road at number 11. It is a busy street and our shop is filled to the ceiling with all kinds of plastic items. We have buckets, tubs, stools, and containers of every size you can think of. Most of the time, the sidewalk in front has a few stacks of chairs because we just run out of room inside. Jhampa is a lively neighborhood, and being on the way to the Mahakali Caves means there are always people walking past our door. The shop has a specific smell of new plastic, which is something we don't even notice anymore. We spend a lot of time rearranging the stacks so people can actually walk through the aisles. It is not a fancy place with air conditioning; we just have a couple of old fans that move the air around while we wait for the next customer. Sometimes children come in with their mothers looking for a colorful mug or a small toy, and the bright colors of the plastic make the shop look more cheerful than it actually is. We keep a small stool near the back where we sit when things get quiet, but that doesn't happen very often on this road. At the end of the day, we pull the metal shutter down and lock up number 11, then head home just like everyone else around here. It is just a local spot for plastic goods.
