R K General Store

R K General Store has been a part of Amroli for some time now. We are a small shop and we carry the usual things you’d expect to find in a place like this. There is tea, biscuits, spices, and some household cleaners on the shelves. It’s not a huge place, so we focus on the things people really need every day. The layout is a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot of variety into the space. We have bags of grain on the floor and small items hanging from the ceiling. It can be a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside at the same time. We don't have any big corporate signs or uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and talk to the customers like we’ve known them forever. Most of them live just around the corner from us. We know who likes which brand of tea and who usually forgets to bring their own bag for the eggs. It’s a simple way to earn a living. The street outside can be quite dusty, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the jars and packets. We open early so people can get what they need before they head to work. There isn't anything fancy about R K General Store. It’s just a honest place to buy your groceries and get a bit of local news.
