You can find us in Fulpada, right in Thakkarbapa Nagar. It’s a busy part of the neighborhood with plenty of people moving around all day. We have been operating here for quite some time now. The building is older, but we keep it in decent shape. Most of our day is spent in the kitchen or out front talking to the regulars. We get people who have been coming here for years. They usually sit at the same tables every time. It’s a lot of manual work, moving chairs around and making sure the water jugs are full on every table. The heat from the stoves makes the front area warm, so we keep the big fans going constantly. We don't have a fancy menu or anything. It’s just the usual stuff we know how to make well. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the entrance for a few minutes while they unload, and we have to go out and help them move things quickly. The floor is tile, which makes it easier to wash down at the end of the night. We close up once the street starts to get quiet, usually late. It’s just a regular local hotel where people can get a bite to eat without any fuss. We focus on the daily chores and making sure there’s enough food for the lunch rush. It gets loud during the midday meal.
