Prabhat Engineering Works

We’ve been over here at Udhna Bapunagar near the Tolnaka for a while now. Most days you’ll find us busy with the machines at Prabhat Engineering Works. It gets pretty loud in the shop, but that’s just how it is when things are moving. Our spot at Bapu Nagar 978 isn't hard to find if you know the area. People stop by when they need something fixed or made. Sometimes the floor is a mess with metal shavings, but we get the jobs done. It’s just me and a couple of others usually. We don't have a big office or anything fancy, just the workspace and our tools. The heat gets to you in the summer, but we keep the doors open to catch a breeze. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, yet we’re still right here doing the same thing. Usually, someone is always around if you need to ask about a part. It’s practical work. No big speeches or anything, just turning the power on every morning and getting to it. If the machines are running, we're working. Most of our neighbors know the sound of this place by now. It’s not a quiet job, but it’s what we do. We just stay focused on the tasks we have for the day and try to keep things organized enough to find what we need. It's a regular shop in a regular part of town. We just keep moving.
