Patel Pan Centre

Patel Pan Centre is situated down in Sagrampura, right near the Lakdi Pool. If you know that old bridge, then you know exactly where to find us. It is a busy little area with a lot of history and constant movement. The shop itself is very modest and hasn't changed much over the years. We have all our jars and containers for the pan ingredients lined up, and the main counter is where we spend most of our time. It can be a bit of a tight squeeze inside when more than two or three people are waiting at the same time. The Lakdi Pool area has a lot of traffic passing through, so there is always a bit of dust that we have to wipe off the counters and jars every morning. We don't have any big signs or anything flashy to catch your eye. Most people who come here do so because they walk past us every day on their way to the market or to work. The air around the shop always has that specific smell of the spices and leaves we use. We usually keep a small radio on a low volume just to have some background noise while we go about our tasks. It is an ordinary place without any fancy packaging or modern systems. You just come in, get what you want, and move on. Sometimes the rain gets heavy and we have to pull the shutters down, but otherwise, we are always here doing the same thing.
