Patel General Stores

Patel General Stores is found at Sardar Baug on Station Road in Bardoli. It is a very convenient spot for anyone who is heading toward the train station or coming back from work. We have been here serving the local residents of Bardoli for a long time now. Our store has a little bit of everything that you might need in a hurry. We stock things like basic toiletries, some food items, and other small things for the house. Since Station Road is always full of people walking and driving by, we stay quite busy throughout the entire day. It is a simple shop with just a wooden counter and some metal shelves to hold the goods. We do not have any fancy displays or bright lights to attract people. We just put the items out where people can see them easily. Sometimes we have a nice chat with our regular customers while they are waiting for their change or for us to pack their bags. It has a real small-town feel here in Bardoli. We work fairly long hours, but that is just how it is when you run a general store. We try to keep enough stock so that we do not have to tell anyone that we are out of what they need. There is no big company behind us, it is just our family doing the work.
