Om Sai Stores

If you walk through Sundaram Complex on Pal Road, you’ll find us. Om Sai Stores has been a part of this Adajan Dn area for a while. Being near Palanpur Jakat Naka means there’s a lot of movement, especially in the evenings when everyone is headed home. Surat is a busy city, and this corner of it is no different. The shop isn’t very big, so we have to stack things pretty high to make everything fit. I often lose track of where the smaller items ended up, but eventually, I find them behind the counter. The air is always a bit warm, even with the door open, but the breeze from the road helps a little. We get all sorts of people coming in, some just looking for a quick snack and others buying for the whole week. It gets a little chaotic when the delivery guys show up at the same time as the customers. There’s no big sign or anything flashy, just the name and the goods we have on hand. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there in the dim light until it comes back on. It’s just how life goes in a neighborhood store. We aren't trying to be anything more than a place where you can grab what you need and keep moving. Most days are just about counting change and putting new bread on the racks before it gets late.
