National Masala

National Masala is situated on Ora Darwaja Road. We are quite close to the Rajpuri Gate Old Bus Stand, just outside the Rajpuri Darwaja. It’s an old part of the city and there’s always a lot of history and activity around here. We deal in spices, mostly bulk and some retail for the families nearby. The air around the shop always smells like coriander and cumin because of what we handle. The building itself is older, like many others in this area. We don't have a big sign or neon lights. People find us because they’ve been coming here for years or they hear about us from their neighbors. It gets really crowded near the bus stand, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just focus on getting the spices ready and making sure they are fresh. It’s a family-run thing, so there’s usually one of us here at all times. We don’t bother with much marketing. The work keeps us on our feet from early morning. The shop layout is simple with bags of spices stacked up against the walls. We see a lot of travelers coming from the bus stand who stop in to take something home. It’s a noisy, busy place but we like being in the middle of it all near the old gate. It is a good place to work every single day.
