Running Narayan Provision Store on Ring Road means dealing with a lot of noise from the cars passing by. It’s a fast-paced area, but our shop feels a bit slower once you step inside. We have been here for a while, watching the road get busier and busier every year. The shelves are packed with all sorts of provisions, from snacks to cooking oil. Sometimes it’s hard to keep everything organized when we get a big shipment in. We just pile it up and get to it when we can. The regulars who live nearby are the ones who keep us going. They know where everything is, so they often just grab what they need and come to the counter. We don’t use any fancy computer systems here. Everything is done by hand in our notebooks. It’s more personal that way, even if it takes a little longer. The Ring Road location is good because people can stop quickly on their way home. We try to have a little bit of everything so nobody leaves disappointed. It’s a modest setup, nothing too grand. We just focus on getting through the day and making sure the stock is okay. The evenings get busy when people finish work and we stay open late.
