I started this workshop a long time ago on Varacha Road. We are right across from the Water Works. It gets a bit noisy here with all the cutting and welding going on but that’s just how it is. We spend most of our days at Ravi Park Society fixing things or making new metal parts for people around Varachha. If you are coming from Dharuka Collage, you’ll see us at units 36 and 37. It is not a fancy place at all. We have our tools and a lot of scrap metal lying around. Sometimes we are busy with big fabrication jobs and other times it is just small repairs for neighbors. My father started working with metal and I just kept it going. We don’t really do ads or anything. People just drop by when their gate is broken or they need a specific steel frame made. The traffic on Varacha Road can be a real headache in the evenings. We usually open early to get the heavy work done before it gets too hot. There is always dust from the grinding, so we keep the doors open for air. We know most of the shop owners around here. It’s a good spot to work even if it is a bit crowded. We just focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the welds hold up. Nothing more to it really. We are usually here until late evening finishing up whatever is on the bench.
