Micro Precision Engineering

Our workshop, Micro Precision Engineering, is located at 20/21 in the Suramya Society. It’s an interesting spot because we are right near Carbon Industries on Raj Pipla Road. We do a lot of small-scale engineering work that requires a steady hand and a bit of patience. The sounds of cutting and grinding are pretty constant throughout the day. We have a few machines that we keep in good shape, and we are always measuring things down to the last millimeter. It’s not the kind of work you can rush. We usually have various metal parts scattered across the workbenches in different stages of being finished. The society area is a mix of different types of small businesses, so there is always someone moving something around outside. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. Most people hear about us because we helped them out with a part they couldn't find anywhere else. We wear our work clothes and don't mind getting our hands dirty. It’s just how we’ve always done it. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a specific piece that a customer is waiting for. It’s a quiet life of just focusing on the task at hand and making sure we don't make mistakes. We just like building things that fit together perfectly and work the way they are supposed to when they are installed.
