Mehta Engg. & Service

Our shop is at 4, Shivamnagar, which is on Honey Park Road. It’s a fairly quiet area compared to some of the industrial zones, but we stay busy. Mehta Engg. & Service is where we spend most of our waking hours. We do a mix of engineering work and general servicing of parts. The space is filled with tools, some spare parts in plastic bins, and a few machines that have seen a lot of use. We don’t have a fancy waiting room. Most people just stand around and talk while we take a look at whatever they’ve brought in. We have a small desk tucked in the corner for the paperwork, but most of the action happens on the workbench. Sometimes the floor gets cluttered with metal scraps, but we try to sweep up at the end of the day. We are just a local team doing our thing. Honey Park Road is a good spot for us. People know the Mehta name around here. We don’t go in for big advertisements or anything. We just open up in the morning, do the service work that’s waiting, and close up when we’re done. It’s a straightforward life and we like the work. There is always something new to fix, which keeps the days from getting boring. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily flow of customers without much fuss or bother. It is what we know.
