Mayank Plastic

We run Mayank Plastic over in GIDC Pandesara, specifically in the Sector 5 area. Being in an industrial zone like this means there is always noise from trucks and machines. We mostly deal with bulk items and plastic components that other businesses need. The warehouse is pretty large and it smells like new plastic most of the time. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and making sure the orders are ready to go out. It’s dusty work and the heat in Pandesara can be tough in the summer months. We have a small office area with a desk and a few chairs where we handle the paperwork. It’s nothing fancy, just a practical space. Most of our workers have been with us for years. We know the routines. The delivery trucks come and go all day long. Sometimes we have to move things around with the pallet jack to make room for new arrivals. We don't have a fancy showroom because our customers are mostly other businesses. They just want the products on time and at the right price. We drink a lot of water and tea during the day to keep going. The floor is concrete and has some stains from years of use. It’s hard work but we are used to it. We keep our heads down and just get the orders filled. That is how we operate here every day of the week.
