Ma'S Masala Gruh Udhyog

Our place is at H. No. 1/129, specifically Shop No. 1 & 2 in Kantha Gali. It’s right on Golandaz Street in the Makkaipool area of Nanpura. Being a Gruh Udhyog means it’s a home-style business. We started Ma'S Masala because we knew how to mix spices the old way, and it just grew from there. The shops are small, and we spend most of the day surrounded by bags of turmeric, cumin, and various chilies. The air in Kantha Gali is always filled with the sharp smell of roasting spices. It’s a very local feel here. We know everyone on the street, and people often pop their heads in to say hello while we are working the machines. It is a family effort, with different people helping out at different times of the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just life in this part of Nanpura. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the batches we are making today. The floor is usually covered in a fine layer of spice dust by noon, but we clean it all up before heading home. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we find it satisfying to see the bags lined up and ready. It's just us doing what we know how to do.
