Manisha Hand Prints

Manisha Hand Prints is located over in Pandesara at the Anand Nagar Society. We have units 44 to 49, so it’s a pretty long stretch along the Productivity Road near the Race Course in Surat. Being in Surat means it is always hot and always busy. Our spot on Productivity Road is easy to find if you know where the society is. We have several doors because we occupy a few units together. Inside, it's mostly work tables and stacks of materials. We don't have air conditioning, just some big fans that move the hot air around. It gets loud when everyone is talking at once. We spend our mornings checking the prints and making sure the colors look right under the light. The Race Course area is a bit more open than the old city, but it still feels crowded during the rush hour. We’ve been at Manisha Hand Prints for a long time now. The floors are stained with a bit of ink here and there, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We don't mind the mess much as long as the work gets finished. If you walk past unit 44, you'll probably see us drinking tea or folding things up. It’s a busy life here in Anand Nagar Society. We just keep moving and trying to stay out of the afternoon sun when we can. Sometimes we work late if there is a big pile of things to finish.
