Manideep Engineering

We are over at 303 Vasudev Arcade, which is along the Kothnur Main Road in Phase VII. It’s near the Rupali Canal, so if you find the water, you’re close to us. The building is usually full of the sounds of different businesses, but our shop adds its own noise with the machinery we run. Engineering isn’t a quiet job. We have lathes and drills that hum and vibrate the floor slightly. There is always a faint smell of machine oil in the air. My clothes usually have a few small holes from sparks or sharp metal shavings. We work on a lot of different parts, some big and some very tiny. The workbench is covered in blueprints that have greasy fingerprints all over them. It’s a bit of a walk up to the third floor, but the view of the canal is alright when we take a break. We get a lot of guys from Bharthana Puttenahalli Palya coming in with pieces of equipment that stopped working. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and find us at the machines. The floor is concrete and has some stains that have been there since we moved in. It’s a productive space, though it’s definitely not a place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. We just focus on getting the metal cut right and the dimensions correct for whoever needs the work done.
