Goyama Pen

Goyama Pen is located near the Sai Baba Mandir on Station Road. We’re right in the middle of the Dariya Sevi Sadarivala Market in the Baghal area of Surat. Malad West is listed on our address too, so it gets a bit confusing for people sometimes. It’s a very crowded place, especially during market hours when everyone is out buying things. Our shop is small, and it’s filled from floor to ceiling with all kinds of pens and writing supplies. There’s hardly enough room for three people to stand inside at once. It gets quite loud outside with all the vendors shouting and the rickshaws passing by. We’ve been selling pens here for a long time, and we know most of the regular customers who come in for their daily supplies. It’s a simple business. We spend our day sorting stock, helping people find a specific ink, or just chatting with the neighbors. The market has a life of its own, and we’re just a small part of it. Sometimes it’s hard to find us because of all the other stalls, but if you look for the Sai Baba Mandir, we aren't far from there. The air is always full of the smells from the food stalls nearby. We don't have a website; we just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the market to wake up. It’s a tight fit, but it works for us.
