Mahavir Masala

We are located at Nakrani Niwas, which is No. 4, Plot No A-70. It’s right on Katargam Road near the Katargam Darwaja. This part of Surat is always moving. Kubernagar-1 is a mix of people living there and small businesses like ours. Mahavir Masala is a local operation. We have been in this spot for a while. The building is just a standard one, and we use the ground area for the spice work. You can hear the grinders from the street. It’s a rhythmic sound that we don't even notice anymore. We spend a lot of time sorting through the raw seeds and dried chilies before they go into the machines. It’s a bit tedious, but it has to be done. We don't have a fancy office or a website that looks professional. It’s just us and the spices. The Katargam Darwaja area is always crowded, so there is never a quiet moment. We see the same faces every day walking past the shop. Some people stop to buy a small packet, others are just passing through. Our hands always smell like cardamom or cloves. It’s a permanent smell. We just keep the doors open and work through the orders as they come. It is just a basic way to live and work in the city. We don't need much more than that. The work keeps us busy from morning till night. It is a good life for us and our families.
