Mahashati General Stores

You can find Mahashati General Stores at Pandesara 8th cross KP Agrahara 44. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, though the weekends can get a bit more crowded with families out and about. Our store is a single room with shelves lining every wall from top to bottom. We try to keep things like soap and tea towards the front so they are easy to find. There is a small counter where we stand, and it has a glass top that’s got a few scratches on it from years of coins being slid across. We have a ceiling fan that spins slowly, and it makes a rhythmic ticking sound that I’ve stopped hearing unless I really listen for it. The walls are painted a simple white, but they've turned a bit grey over time. We have a lot of items in plastic jars that we keep behind the counter. Sometimes, the neighborhood kids come in just to look at the candy jars. We spend our days restocking the shelves and making sure the floor stays clean of the mud that people track in. KP Agrahara is a nice place to be, and we feel like a part of the scenery here. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are and they stop in when they need something for their house. It’s just a normal shop run by normal people. We've been here long enough that we know when the rain is coming just by the smell of the air and the wind.
