Mahalaxmi Super Store

You can find Mahalaxmi Super Store right beside the Lake View Garden in Gajanand Society. We are located in the Prapti Apartment building in Piplod. Since the garden is so close, we get a lot of people coming in after their morning walks or in the evenings when families are out for some fresh air. It is a nice spot to be in because there is always some movement outside. Inside the store, we have rows of groceries and the usual things you would expect to find for a kitchen or bathroom. We spend a lot of our time checking the dates on packets and making sure the fridge for cold drinks is actually staying cold. The Piplod area has changed a lot over the years but our shop stays pretty much the same. Sometimes the floor gets a bit dusty from people walking in from the street but we try to sweep it when there is a quiet moment. We usually have the radio playing in the background at a low volume while we wait for customers. It is not a huge supermarket where you get lost in the aisles. It is just big enough to hold what is necessary for the families living in Gajanand Society and the nearby apartments. Most of the time, we are just busy unpacking crates or helping someone find a specific brand of spices they like. It is simple work but it keeps us on our feet throughout the day.
