Konark Engineering

At Konark Engineering, we spend our days tucked away in the Bardoli area. Our workshop is located at Samrat Appartment in the Khothari Pole section. It is a bit of a tight squeeze back there, especially when we have big deliveries coming in or out of the narrow street. The building is older, but it serves us well enough for what we do. Engineering work can be messy and loud, so I am sure the neighbors in the other apartments hear us grinding away at times. We focus on the jobs that come in from local factories and farmers around Bardoli who need parts fixed or something custom made from steel. There is usually grease on the floor and a layer of dust on the windows, but that is just how an engineering shop looks when it is actually being used. We don't have a sales team or a fancy website. Most people find us because they saw the sign near the pole or a friend told them we could weld something they broke. The mornings start early here with the sound of the shutters going up. We keep a small kettle for tea in the corner because the days can get long when a machine isn't cooperating. It’s just honest work in a small space. We try to be fair and just keep the machines running for everyone. It is a simple life in Samrat Appartment, but we like being part of the local community.
