Our place is over in Piplod, near Chandani Chowk in Surat. We are based out of a bungalow in Vibhag-2, specifically bungalow number 28 on plot 27. It is a residential-feeling area, which makes the work environment a bit more relaxed than a typical office building downtown. We work in hospitality, which means we spend a lot of time thinking about how to take care of guests and manage different properties. It is a lot of small details that people might not notice, but they matter to us. We handle everything from the cleaning schedules to making sure the kitchen has what it needs. We are not a giant chain; it is more of a local operation. Most of us have lived in Surat for years, so we understand what people expect when they come here. The office inside the bungalow is where we do all our planning and paperwork. Sometimes we sit around the table and just talk through the problems we are facing that week. It is not always easy, and things go wrong sometimes, but we just fix them and move on to the next task. We do not use big fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure the rooms are ready and the people are fed. It is basic work, but it is what we do every day. We are just part of the local community here in the Piplod area.
