Kajri Sweet & Farsan Mart

Our shop, Kajri Sweet & Farsan Mart, is on Udhna Pratap Nagar Road in Vadodara. The exact spot is Pratapnagar 3. We have been here for a while and most people know us for the snacks we make. It’s usually pretty busy in the mornings when we are frying things up. The smell travels down the street and people just follow it in. We don’t have a lot of space, so it can get a bit tight when there are more than three or four people inside. We don’t really do anything fancy with the packaging. We just put things in bags and hand them over. It’s a simple way to run a business. Vadodara is a big city but this corner of Udhna Pratap Nagar Road feels like its own little world. We know the other shop owners and the people who walk by every day. Some days we are tired but we still open up on time. Kajri Sweet & Farsan Mart is just a place where we work hard and hope for the best. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything. We just want to keep the shop going and make things the way we always have. It’s not a perfect place, the walls could use some paint, but we just make the stuff like we always have. We’re just regular people doing our job every day. It’s enough for us.
