Hotel Reet Raas

We are located in Adajan Dn, and Hotel Reet Raas has been around this neighborhood for quite some time. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, so it stays a little quieter here. I spend most of my time in the kitchen or checking the rooms to make sure everything is okay. It’s a small building, nothing like those big glass hotels you see in the city center. We have some plants out front that I try to water every morning, though the heat usually gets to them by noon. The lobby is small and we have an old desk where we keep the register. Sometimes the plumbing acts up and I have to spend the afternoon with a wrench, but that’s just how it is with older buildings. We have a few staff members who have been with us for years, so we’re like a small family. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just provide a place to stay and something to eat for whoever walks through the door. Most of our guests are people visiting relatives nearby or workers on a short trip. It’s a simple routine of cleaning, cooking, and waiting for the next guest to arrive. We hope the ceiling fans keep spinning and the guests find their sleep easy.
