Being in the 395003 area puts us in a good spot for people coming into the city for medical reasons or just general travel. We’ve been here for several years now, and the neighborhood has seen a lot of growth. Our hotel is a straightforward kind of place. We don’t have a big lobby with marble floors, but we do have a clean space where you can sit and wait. The team here is small, mostly just a few family members and some local help. We do all the work ourselves, from washing the towels to checking the bills. It’s a busy life but we enjoy meeting the different people who come through our doors. Some stay for a night and some stay for a week while they get things sorted at the hospital across the street. We try to keep things quiet inside so people can actually get some rest. The rooms are plain but they work. We don't use any fancy systems, just a simple logbook and some keys.
