Hotel Ocean Panorama is down by Devka Beach. We are specifically at Sagrampura 1st Stage in the Industrial Suburb. The zip code is 395002. It’s an interesting spot because you have the beach on one side and all the industrial units on the other. You get a mix of people here. Some are here for a break by the water, and others are here because they have business at the factories. I’ve been managing the place for about five years now. The salt air from the ocean can be tough on the building, so we are always painting or fixing something. It’s a lot of work. The rooms aren't huge, but they do the job. We don’t have a big fancy restaurant, just a small kitchen where we make basic meals. Sometimes the power goes out when there’s a storm, but we have a generator that usually kicks in. It’s a bit noisy with the industrial work nearby, but at night you can sometimes hear the waves if the wind is right. We don't try to be something we aren't. We are a local hotel for people who need a place to stay while they are in town. I handle most of the check-ins myself. It’s a simple operation and we like it that way.
