Hotel Merit

Hotel Merit is right here in Surat. We are located at the Raguleela Mall, inside the AMR Complex. It's across from the Ayurvedic College and Hospital. Most days, it's pretty busy around here because of the college students and people visiting the hospital. The mall is right next door too. We've been in this building for a while now. The lobby has some old chairs and a desk where we handle things. It's not a fancy place, just a building with rooms where people stay when they have business in this part of town. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially in the afternoons when the market is full. We see a lot of families who come for the hospital across the street. Usually, they look a bit tired. We just try to get them checked in quickly so they can sit down. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we walk or take a rickshaw to get to work. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and making sure everything is where it should be. It's a simple operation really. No big corporate rules or anything like that. Just us working and trying to keep the place running. The weather in Surat can get really hot, so the fans are always going. You can see the Ayurvedic College from some of the windows. It’s a plain building. People end up staying here because they have something to do at the hospital or the mall and they need a nearby room.
