Our workshop is tucked away in Chamunda Estate, right across from the Heavy Water Township. We occupy a few units on the first floor, numbers five, six, and seven. It's a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it gives us the space we need for the engineering work we do here in Surat. The area around Kewas Hazira is always busy with trucks and industrial activity, so we fit right in. We’ve been here for some time now, and the walls are a bit scuffed from moving parts around, but that’s just part of the job. Most days, you’ll hear the sound of machines running and people talking over the noise to get things sorted. We aren't big on fancy office chairs or polished floors. We prefer to focus on the metal and the drawings in front of us. It gets pretty hot in the summer, especially with all the machinery, but we manage with a few old fans. Customers usually just drop by the estate when they have a problem that needs fixing or a part that needs making. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just wipes their hands and says hello. It’s a practical setup. We handle the engineering bits as they come, trying to keep things moving without too much fuss or complicated talk. We aren't here to impress anyone with a showroom, just to get the job finished correctly.
