We are Simms Engineering Pvt Ltd. Our shop is located in Madhi, specifically in the Bedi Faliya area. It’s part of the Bardoli taluka in the Surat district of Gujarat. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the big city, but we like it here. The roads can be a bit rough during the rains, which sometimes slows things down. We do engineering work, which mostly means we spend all day with machines and tools. It’s noisy and there’s always grease on someone’s hands. We don’t have a front desk person or a waiting room. Usually, if you show up, you just walk into the work area and find one of us. We’ve been in this spot for years. Most of us grew up nearby, so we know everyone in the village. We handle whatever jobs come our way, from small repairs to bigger projects. We don't have a big marketing budget or a website that looks professional. We just rely on the fact that people know we do the work. The weather gets really hot here in the summer, so we start early and take a long break when the sun is at its worst. It’s a simple way to run a business. We don't use big words or try to act like we're more than we are. Just an engineering outfit in Madhi trying to stay busy and pay the bills.
