We have been set up here at No. A-7 in Narayna Park for quite some time now. Hazira Road is always busy, so there is usually a lot of noise outside our doors. Most days, we are just busy with the engineering work that comes in. It is not a very big shop, but we have enough space for the machines and the tools we need to get through the day. Sometimes the grease gets everywhere, and my hands are rarely clean until the evening when I finally head home. It is honest work, really. People stop by because they know where we are, right near the park. We do not spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. The walls are mostly covered with calendars and old notes about jobs we finished months ago. Usually, the morning starts with a quick cup of tea while we look at what needs to be fixed or fabricated. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons, so it gets a bit warm inside. We just keep the fans running and try to stay on top of things. It is mostly local people and nearby businesses that drop off their parts. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment. If you walk past, you’ll probably hear the sound of metal being worked on. It’s just how things are at Prabha G Engineering Service.
