We are located over in the Industrial Estatee part of town, right across from Siddhkutir. If you’re coming down Dhole Patil Road, you’ll see the Choice Arcade nearby. It’s a busy spot because we’re also right opposite Ruby Hall Clinic, so there’s always a lot of traffic and people moving around outside our doors. Swati Engg is basically a workshop where we spend most of our time with our hands on the machines. It gets pretty loud in here when everything is running at once, and the floor usually has some metal shavings or oil on it by the end of the shift. We aren’t really the type for fancy meetings or polished presentations. Usually, someone is just wearing grease-stained clothes and looking at a blueprint or a part that needs fixing. The air smells like hot metal and old coffee most mornings. We’ve been in this spot for some time, and the neighbors in the arcade know us well enough. It’s a practical setup with no bells and whistles. We have the tools we need and just enough space to move things around without tripping over equipment. Sometimes it gets cramped when a big order comes in and we have to stack crates near the entrance, but we manage. You can usually find one of us standing near the front door if the weather is nice, just catching a bit of air and watching the traffic. It’s a lot of hard work, but that’s just how it goes in this part of the estate.
