Hari Om International

Working out of Radhakrishna Market on Ring Road is a very different experience than a regular retail shop. Our unit, Hari Om International, is at E - 318/ 19, and it is right in the heart of the textile hub. This area is always moving. Trucks are constantly being loaded and unloaded, and there are people rushing around with bundles of fabric on their shoulders. It is loud and can be quite chaotic if you aren't used to it. We spend our days handling orders and making sure the stock is moving out to where it needs to go. The space inside is mostly filled with rolls of material and packing supplies. We don't have a showroom for people to walk through; it is more of a functional workspace where we get things done. I usually get here before the main traffic hits the Ring Road, and I stay until the last of the daily dispatches are finished. We have a small desk tucked in the corner where we handle the paperwork. It gets quite dusty because of all the movement in the market, so we are always wiping things down. We don't have time for fancy talk or marketing. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep up with the pace of the market. It’s a tough environment, but it feels good to be part of the engine that keeps the city's trade moving.
