H. M. Engineers

We are situated at Shop No. 16 in the Radha Krishna Shopping Centre. It’s right opposite Sunsine Marble on the Udhna Magdalla Road. If you are driving through Udhna, you’ve probably passed by us many times. H. M. Engineers is just a small local shop, really. We have our tools and our workbenches set up in the back, while the front part is where we talk to people who stop by. The road outside is usually packed with cars and bikes, so it can get pretty noisy during the day. We have a little bench out front where someone is usually sitting and watching the traffic. Inside, the shop is a bit cramped because we have a lot of gear. There are shelves filled with bits and pieces that we’ve collected over the years. You can find almost any tool if you know which pile to look in. We don't really bother with decorations or nice furniture. The chairs are mismatched and the desk is covered in papers and old coffee rings. It’s a place for working, not for showing off. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out or use flashlights if we have to finish something. It’s a simple way of doing things. We know most of the people who work in the nearby shops, so there is always someone to chat with when things get a little slow.
