Gattu Gopal Namkeen

The smell of spices usually tells you when you are getting close to our unit at Plot No. 8687 in the G.I.D.C. Estate. Vyara is a good place to work, even if the summers get quite hot out here in the District Tapi area. We started Gattu Gopal Namkeen because we know how much people around here love their local snacks. It is a busy little setup we have going. Most days involve a lot of frying, cooling, and packing. We are not some massive factory with robots or anything. It is mostly local hands making sure the packets are filled right every time. People come by the estate for all sorts of industrial business, and sometimes they stop in to see what is fresh off the line. We do not spend much time on fancy labels or big advertisements. The focus is always on the taste of the sev and gathiya we make daily. Dealing with the heat in the kitchen is just part of the job for us. We have a small team that has been with us for years. They know the recipes by heart now without looking at any notes. It gets very hectic around festival times, but we manage to keep up. The road through the estate can be a bit bumpy for the delivery trucks, but they still make it in and out every day. We just want to keep making the snacks that families enjoy.
