You can find us at Kadodara Kapodara Char Rasta, right at number 219. It is a very busy spot where the roads meet. There is always a lot of traffic and people shouting. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with boxes. Sometimes it is hard for two people to pass each other in the aisle. We sell all kinds of groceries and things for the kitchen. The building is quite old and the paint is peeling off the ceiling in some places. We have been here a long time now. I handle the heavy bags of sugar and flour myself most days. My arms get tired but that is just part of the work. We have a small television in the corner that we watch when there are no customers. Usually, it is just playing the news. The billing counter is a bit wobbly so we put a piece of cardboard under one leg. It works okay now. We don't have a big staff, just me and my nephew. We take turns going for lunch. The rain sometimes splashes inside when the wind is strong from the west. We just put some sacks down to soak it up. It is a simple way to live and work. We don't have any big plans to change things. People know they can get what they need here without any trouble. It is just a honest shop.
