Chunilall Hanuman Prasad

Chunilall Hanuman Prasad is located at 126, Ell-Bee Apartment in Salabatpura, right near the Ring Road. It is a bit unusual because we are inside an apartment building rather than a traditional storefront. This means the space feels more like a home that has been converted into an office. We have desks set up where there used to be a dining area. It is a bit cramped because we have so many old records and samples stored in every available cupboard. We have been in Salabatpura for a very long time and we know the neighborhood inside and out. The stairs up to the apartment are a bit steep, so we don't get many random walk-ins. Most people who come to see us have been doing business with the family for years. We handle textile trading and other related tasks. We don't use much modern technology beyond the basics. A lot of our business is done over a cup of tea and a long conversation. It is a slower pace than the big offices downtown, but we prefer it that way. We don't have any big signs outside. If you know the building, you know where to find us. We take a long break in the afternoon when the sun is at its hottest. It is a traditional way of working that hasn't changed much since my grandfather's time. We just keep doing what we know.
