S.K. Masala

S.K. Masala is situated right at 9/1735 Chauta Bazar, on Plot No. 5921. We are just opposite the Sutax Bank in the G.I.D.C. area of Sachin. If you walk by, you’ll definitely smell the spices before you see the sign. It’s a strong scent that stays on your clothes all day. We spend our time grinding and mixing different things. It’s a bit of a dusty job, and everyone sneezes once in a while from the pepper or the chili. Our shop in Chauta Bazar is always bustling. We’ve been here in Sachin for a long time, and we know most of the people who come by. We aren't a giant factory. It’s more of a family-style operation where we do things the way we were taught. The machines we use are old but they work fine. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy website. Most of our customers come because they’ve lived here forever and know where to get their spices. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road a bit, but that’s just life in the G.I.D.C. zone. It gets pretty loud when the grinders are running at full speed. We just keep our heads down and get the packets ready. It’s simple work, but it’s what we do at S.K. Masala every single day. We are just local people making something for the kitchen.
