Bhavani Stores

Bhavani Stores is located in Gopipura, specifically D R Halli on the 1st Main Road of Ranganath Colony near Mysore Road. You can find us at G/1. It is a typical neighborhood corner store where you can get almost everything you need for your daily life. We stock large bags of rice, different kinds of lentils, soaps, and various snacks for the local children. The shop is always quite crowded because we try to fit as many products as possible onto the narrow shelves. I have been running this store since I was a young man. My kids sometimes come by to help out after their school is over, though they are usually busy with their own studies. The early mornings are our busiest time because everyone is coming in to buy fresh milk and bread. In the heat of the afternoon, things slow down and I usually sit near the front door to catch whatever breeze comes by. We keep a handwritten ledger for our regular neighbors who prefer to pay for their groceries at the end of the month. It involves a lot of trust, but that is how business has always been done in this colony. The building itself is quite old and the floor is slightly uneven. We are not a big supermarket. You just tell me what you need and I will find it from the back. It is a simple life, but it keeps us connected.
