Baba Spices

Baba Spices is located at Plot No-46 in Bhakti Nagar-3. We are quite close to New Bamroli Road, which makes it easy for the transport guys to find us. We have been grinding spices here for a few years now. The whole building smells like cumin and black pepper most of the time. It is a small setup with just a couple of grinding machines and some weighing scales. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. Most of our day is spent sifting through whole spices to make sure there are no stones or dirt left in them. It is tedious work and your hands end up smelling like spices for days. We don't have a fancy showroom. It is just a workspace where we get things done. My son helps with the deliveries on his scooter when the orders aren't too big. We know the people in Bhakti Nagar well, and they often come by to buy a small pouch of masala for their dinner. We don't use any fancy packaging, just plain bags that keep the freshness in. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves, which takes up a lot of time. It is just a regular local business trying to do things the old-fashioned way. We don't have a website or anything like that, just this physical shop where we work every day. Sometimes the dust from the chili makes us sneeze, but we are used to it by now. The fan in the corner rattles.
