Arihant General Stores

Arihant General Stores has been sitting here on the 100 Feet Road for quite some time. We are right on the 17th Main in Pandesara. It is a big, wide road, so there is always something happening outside. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling. Honestly, we probably have too much stuff in here. You have to walk sideways through some of the aisles because of the rice bags and the crates of soda. We sell all sorts of things. Soap, snacks, oil, lentils, and even some plastic buckets hanging from the rafters. I know where most things are, but sometimes even I have to hunt for a specific brand of tea. It is a family thing, usually me or my brother behind the counter. We do not have a computer for the billing, we just use a notebook and a calculator. It is faster that way for us. The floor is a bit worn down from all the foot traffic over the years. We open early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. People stop by on their way to the factories around Pandesara. We do not do any big advertising. The sign outside is a bit faded, but everyone knows the 100 Feet Road location. Sometimes we run out of change, which is a bit of a scramble. It is just a regular neighborhood store where you can get what you need for your kitchen.
