We are located in Tulashi Darshan, which is building number 118 in Part-1, right near Yogi Chowk. This is where we run Amirus Masala. It is not a huge factory; it is more like a small workshop where we handle all our spices. The smell is the first thing you notice when you get near our door. It is a strong mix of red chilies, coriander, and cumin. Sometimes it makes us sneeze, but we are used to it by now. We spend our days cleaning the raw spices and then grinding them into fine powders. We use some heavy-duty grinders that make a lot of noise. Our space in Tulashi Darshan is often filled with jars and bags waiting to be filled. We are just a small team, mostly family and a couple of helpers from the neighborhood. We do not have any polished advertisements or a sales team. Most of our customers come to us because they live nearby or they heard about us from a friend. We try to keep things as simple as possible. We don't add anything extra to the masalas, just the pure spices. It is a lot of hard work, especially when we have to lift the heavy sacks of whole spices. But we like what we do. It feels good to see the jars lined up and ready to go. We are just a local business trying to make something useful for the kitchens in our area.
