Akshay Engineering Works

Akshay Engineering Works is located at Plot 92 in the Kumbharwada area. We are right inside Vip Park, which is quite close to Motitalav. This is an older part of the city, but it’s a good place for a workshop like ours. We have a decent-sized shed where we carry out all our engineering and metalwork. Most of the day is spent on the lathes or doing some milling for different parts. My brother and I have been running this place together for quite some time now. We have two other guys who help us out when things get really busy. We usually open up the shutters very early in the morning to get some work done before the midday heat becomes too much to handle. There is always a pile of raw iron bars or steel plates sitting near the entrance, waiting to be processed. It’s a dirty job, and there’s always oil on the floor, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a website or any kind of online presence. Most people just know we are here and they walk in with whatever they need. Sometimes we have to go out to a customer’s site to take some measurements, but for the most part, you can find us right here at the plot. It’s a noisy street with all the different workshops, but we just focus on our own tasks and try to get things finished on time. The tea stall at the corner is where we spend our breaks. It’s a good place to catch up with all the other tradesmen.
