Down at Bhavanivad Lakdi Bandar, in the Daru Khana area, you will find us at A M Enterprises. This isn't a clean or quiet part of town, it is full of iron, scrap, and the smell of the harbor. We spend our days surrounded by heavy parts and old metal. It is the kind of place where your hands are always a bit greasy and the dust never really settles. We deal with a lot of different materials and parts that come through the port or the local yards. It’s hard, physical work and we aren't trying to pretend it’s anything else. Most of the people we deal with are also working in the trade, so we don't have much use for fancy talk or business suits. We just sit in our small office space, drink a lot of tea, and write down orders in our big ledger books. The sun hits the metal outside and makes the whole area quite hot in the summer, but we just pull the shade down and keep moving. We’ve been in the Daru Khana neighborhood for years, seeing the ships and the trucks come and go. It’s a rougher side of the city, but it’s where the real work happens. We don't have any big promises or colorful ads, just a lot of heavy stuff that needs moving and people who need specific parts for their projects. It is just a regular day of grit and metal for us.
