A D Mistry Engg Works

A D Mistry Engg Works is our little engineering shop at U21 in Narayan Peth, right near Kelkar Road and Udhana Magdalla Road. It’s a real old-school workshop. We have been doing mechanical work here for a long time. It’s the kind of place where you’ll always find someone with grease on their hands and a wrench in their back pocket. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a reception area. You just walk right into the work area where the machines are. It gets pretty loud when the lathes are running, and there’s always that smell of cut metal and oil in the air. People from all over Narayan Peth bring us things that are broken or need a bit of custom metalwork. We don’t really use computers for much other than keeping track of the bills. Most of our skill is in our hands and the old machines we’ve been using for years. It’s a tough job sometimes, and it’s hot in the summer, but we like it. We aren't a big corporation with a mission statement. We are just a family-run engineering works that helps out local people and businesses with their mechanical problems. If you need something welded or a part made, you just come to U21 and talk to us. We’ll tell you straight if we can do it or not. That’s just how we operate. We’ve been part of this street for years.
