Kaimganj Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group, Kaimganj Farmers Producer Company Limited, operates out of Sultanpur Barjhala. If you are looking for us, we are located at C/O Raghvendra’s place. It’s where most of the work happens during the harvest months. We started this because the smaller farmers in this part of the region were having a hard time on their own. Now, we try to pool what we have so we can get better prices on things like seeds and tools. Raghvendra handles a lot of the notes and keeping track of things from his home, and there is usually someone sitting on the porch talking about the latest crop prices or the lack of rain we’ve been having. It is a very local thing, run by people who actually live here and work the soil themselves. We don't use big words or have expensive brochures to show people. Mostly, we just have our ledger books and a shared goal of not getting pushed out of the market. The roads around Sultanpur Barjhala can be a bit rough, but everyone knows the way to the house. We spend our days dealing with practical stuff, like how to move the produce without it spoiling or where to put the extra grain when prices are too low to sell. It is just life in the village, and we are doing our best to keep things moving for the community. There are no fancy offices here, just people doing their jobs.
